Gazprom, partners prepare to invest in gas pipeline to South Korea
VLADIVOSTOK, Sep 11 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom and its partners are preparing for the pre-investment feasibility study stage of construction of a gas pipeline to South Korea through North Korea, Deputy CEO Alexander Medvedev said at the Eastern Economic Forum on Tuesday.
УThe idea of a gas pipeline from Russia though North Korea to South Korea is not newЕ but a lack of necessary political prerequisites prevented the project from implementation. Now there are some signs of a better political situation,Ф he said.
