Opal Gastransport to limit Gazprom’s access to gas pipeline on Sat
MOSCOW, Sep 13 (PRIME) -- Germany’s Opal Gastransport, OPAL pipeline’s operator, will limit access of Russia’s gas giant Gazprom to the facility from 7:00 a.m. Moscow time on Saturday, the operator said in a statement on Friday.
“OPAL Gastransport GmbH & Co. KG will restrict the usage of partly regulated decoupled entry and exit connection capacities… with respect to the technical requirements as of September 14, 2019 06:00 a.m. CEST (7.00 a.m. Moscow time),” it said.
On Tuesday, the E.U. Court of Justice cancelled a ruling of the European Commission that allowed access of Gazprom to 100% of the OPAL capacities.
