Report: Lukoil CEO hopes no need to cut oil production
MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Lukoil hopes that oil production cuts wonТt be necessary, CEO Vagit Alekperov said late Wednesday in an interview with Bloomberg television.
УI hope that maybe these measures wonТt be necessary,Ф
An oil price around U.S. $60 suits the needs of producers and consumers and it should remain at that level in January, he said. If Russia does agree a cut, it would take three to four months to fully implement it, he said.
Alekperov said earlier on Wednesday that Lukoil is ready to reduce oil output in case of a decision by OPEC+, but it can be technically difficult in winter.
