Russia’s Gazprom choses Worley Parsons to project Vladivostok plant
MOSCOW, Nov 20 (PRIME) -- Gas giant Gazprom has chosen Worley Parsons International Inc as a contractor for project documentation for liquefied natural gas plant near Vladivostok in Russia’s Far East, the gas holding said in a statement on Wednesday.
Worley Parsons will do the work for 2.19 billion rubles.
Worley Parsons’ competitors were TeknipRUS, Peter GAZ, Institute of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry of the Republic of Bashkortostan and ONHP.
The first, 5 million tonne line of the plant will be launched in 2018. Gazprom is ready to sell a 49% stake in it to Japanese or other foreign companies.
