MOSCOW, Dec 16 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft has won an auction for the Zapadno-Minkhovsky block located on the Gydan Peninsula and partially in the Taz Estuary of the Kara Sea, a source with knowledge of the results of the auction told PRIME on Wednesday.
The starting price is 124 million rubles. The source did not disclose Rosneft’s bid.
The projected hydrocarbon resources of the block amount to 30.3 billion cubic meters of gas under Dl, 89.8 billion cubic meters under D1, and 209.4 billion cubic meters under D2. The recoverable condensate resources amount to 5.4 million tonnes under D1 and 21.8 million tonnes under D2.
