PM: Russian power industry expands in spite of sanctions

MOSCOW, Mar 14 (PRIME) -- The Russian power sector grew in 2022 in spite of the Western sanctions, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin told Andrei Ryumin, CEO of state power grid holding Rosseti, on Tuesday.

“In general, the electric power sector was among the leaders last year, showed growth in spite of the sanctions, the difficult situation, challenges, and different negative forecasts,” he said.
