PRESS: Russian Railways in talks with SUEK on TGC-14
MOSCOW, Sep 10 (PRIME) -- Russian Railways is in talks on selling its stake and the stake of private pension fund Blagosostoyanie in power producer TGC-14 to Siberian Coal Energy Company (SUEK), Kommersant business daily reported on Friday citing sources.
One of the sources said that the parties are close to firm agreement, as there are no other bidders for the asset.
A source close to Russian Railways said on the contrary that there are no agreements yet.
A top manager of the fund said that the negotiations took place at the beginning of 2021 and had no results.
A source with Kommersant said that bids for TGC-14 are collected until Friday, and it is not known if SUEKТs companies are among the bidders.

Russian Railways owns 39.8% in TGC-14 through its subsidiary Energopromsbyt, in which Blagosostoyanie also has a stake. Other managing companies of the fund control 47.5% of the power company.
